Position Summary: The role of the Field Service Technician is to provide remote technical services to customer owned station personnel, and to respond to emergency calls in an organized, timely, and efficient manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to compressors, dryers, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and various other equipment.
  • Diagnose and test electrical systems for continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as digital volt/ohm meters.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, utilizing equipment manuals, test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a failure and make necessary repairs.
  • Ensures that all station equipment, including safety devices are functioning properly, and report any equipment failures to supervisor.
  • Document service actions daily by completing forms, reports, and logs.
  • Ensures good housekeeping practices of all equipment, tools, work areas and fueling station.
  • Oversee or assist others on site or over the phone with diagnosis and repairs.

  • Conduct audit walk throughs and provide guidance on proper maintenance and housekeeping.

Position Summary: The Plant Operator performs all functions for safely operating a Renewable Natural Gas Facility. This position reports to the Area Manager and shares accountability of the day-to-day operations of the site. The goals of this position are to maximize production and minimize downtime with the utmost regard to safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and repairing equipment required to maximize gas plant production in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
  • Maintain detailed records on production data, equipment operational hours, service schedules and equipment outages.
  • Check all operating equipment daily including flow meters, gas chromatographs, fluid levels, pressure and temperature readings, and unusual noises to correct conditions before failure occurs.
  • Perform all maintenance and repairs on the operating equipment including oil and filter changes, replacement and repair of valves, blowers, compressors, and other plant equipment, as necessary. Participate in preventative maintenance outages and overhauls.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in and around the plant. Keep oil from accumulating on the unit skids, floors, and soil around the plant. Keep weeds and shrubs cleaned from the plant yard and perimeter fence. Keep equipment and floors looking as presentable as possible.
  • Keep all on-site parts and supplies stocked and well organized. Maintain plant inventory.
  • Respond to call outs in a timely manner. Identify and correct the cause of the call out. If the problem cannot be corrected or diagnosed, it is the responsibility of the operator to contact the plant manager to get the help required to fix the situation.
  • Operate the plant with a clear focus on safety. Clean up spills immediately. Make sure all lighting systems are fully functional; no slip or trip hazards are consistently present; and no electrical or mechanical hazards go on for long periods of time without attention. Affirm that all plant visitors, mechanics, and outside contractors are following safe work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: This position reports to the Wellfield Supervisor and is responsible for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the gas collection and control system (GCCS). The GCCS consists of a series of extraction points, known as wells, that are interconnected via piping. Proper operation of the GCCS is required to comply with State and Federal environmental regulations. Most of the day will be spent in the field maintaining GCCS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monthly wellfield monitoring.
  • Liquid level measurements in Gas Extraction Wells (GEW).
  • Pneumatic pump troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Conduct routine blower and flare operations.
  • Monitor perimeter probes.
  • Manage and interpret data from wellfield extraction locations.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements and ensure that health and safety standards are followed by on-site staff and sub-contractors.
  • Available for on-call response to a GCCS related malfunction event.
  • Travel to other facilities as required (50%).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • No prior industry experience required.
  • Ability to operate a pickup truck and ATV.
  • Background check and clean drug screen required.
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently, outdoors approximately 90% of each workday. Work environment involves exposure to dirt, odors, noise, high traffic, heavy equipment, and weather extremes.
  • Must possess effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to handle objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • Ability to walk over steep and rough terrain daily.
