Position Summary: Oversees all daily operations of RNG/gas processing facilities from production to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Develop, implement, enforce, and lead operational processes that will maximize safety, quality, and electric generation productivity to help the company remain compliant, efficient, and profitable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet or exceed annual generation, labor, and expense budgets.
  • Ensure plant and employees are compliant with safety procedures and environmental requirements.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic company initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to staff.
  • Allocate resources effectively, and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  • Responsible for notifications to utilities, energy managers, landfill O&M, and all other partners as required by facility agreements and contracts.
  • Ensure accurate data collection is completed for reporting, compliance, recordkeeping, and equipment preventative maintenance programs.
  • Monitor facility operations, bring actionable information to leadership, and initiate corrective actions through to completion.
  • Share a trusting relationship with operations teams and recruit, manage, and develop power plant staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of five years of experience and proven success in power generation or related industry experience.
  • Must be proactive, detail orientated, and proficient in supervising and motivating teams.
  • Must have strong and effective organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Must be dependable, highly motivated, and self-directed; able to work flexible hours remotely and in the field.

  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude preferred.

Salary: $120K – $140K plus a 15% bonus target

This role is responsible for managing sub-contractors who are performing commercial / industrial construction and engineering projects nationwide. Position Summary: OPAL Fuels LLC. offers the incumbent opportunity to engage in all aspects of the rapidly growing and evolving sector of the renewable fuels, power generation and decarbonization sectors. Due to the lean size of the finance and treasury team, the Analyst will assume integral roles within the deal teams and gain exposure to senior professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting to support operational and business decision making.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Develop and enhance reporting capabilities for financial and operational performance.
  • Prepare annual business plans, monthly forecasts, and other ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools through utilization of the Solver BI360 business intelligence suite.

This role is responsible for providing leadership for the preliminary planning and engineering services prior to completion of a financial investment recommendation for construction of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and other major projects. The role will provide the necessary project development support to adequately define the project, identify potential challenges, develop a comprehensive schedule, estimating co-directs in coordination with the project management team, and analyzing the specific requirements of the project, ensuring a smooth hand-off between origination and construction organization. Incumbent can reside anywhere in the continental United States with a manageable commute to a major commercial airport as this position will have overnight travel responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have related experience with process plant / process piping projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical Process, Biogas, and other related process facility projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development of the schedule and budget in coordination with the origination and project management team.
  • Accurately scope and coordinate estimate development.
  • Lead development of the Project Financing memo and supporting documentation
  •  Develop initial Engineering Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Lead early development activities for each project including permitting, preliminary engineering and equipment selection, utility service “Will serve letters” or proposals, coordinate local AHJ meetings and land use approvals.
  • Establish an initial project cash-flow curve in coordination with the project management team
  • Monitor, control, and report engineering performance against budget and schedule for their designated area of responsibility.
  • Manage external and internal engineering activities to ensure compliance with the scope of work (services and facilities) and quality objectives of the project. Specifically:
  • Ensuring that the entire project team is executing to the initially agreed facility plus approved changes (via project change management) to the facility
  • Ensuring that the entire project team is producing the deliverables initially agreed to in the manner (quality, level of detail, format, file type, etc.) initially agreed to plus any approved changes (via project change management) to the deliverable set and/or content.
  • Initial coordination of document control plans between all parties involved in the project and enforcement of the plans through execution
  • Lead and coordinate all technical reviews within the project for their designated area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate between origination, engineering, procurement, and project management for their designated area of responsibility.
  • Enforce and facilitate the management of project change process.
  • Assist with development of design change notices.
  • Assist with the development and approval of engineering queries. Overall responsibility for technical integrity of engineering deliverables.
  • Enforce the management of change process within the project team.
  • Ensure sufficient and competent engineering resources to meet the schedule and scope of work.
  • Assist in evaluation of proposed changes.
  • Ensure project standards and procedures are in place during the project.
  • Ensure that lessons learned are implemented and captured on the project.

Position Summary: The Plant Operator is responsible for the direction of all day-to-day activities in a gas turbine landfill, gas power generation facility. This position reports to the Area Manager and shares accountability of the day-to-day operations of the site. Position Summary: The Plant Operator is responsible for the direction of all day-to-day activities in a reciprocating engine landfill gas power generation facility. This position reports to the Area Manager and shares accountability of the day-to-day operations of the site. The goals of this position are to maximize production and minimize downtime with the utmost regard to safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and repairing equipment required to maximize gas plant production in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
  • Operate and maintain large reciprocating gas engines (Caterpillar 3600 series gensets), gas compressors, and associated auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records on production data, equipment operational hours, and service schedules and equipment outages.
  • Check all operating equipment daily including flow meters, gas chromatographs, fluid levels, pressure and temperature readings, and unusual noises to correct conditions before failure occurs.
  • Perform all maintenance and repairs on the operating equipment including oil and filter changes, cylinder head and piston replacements, replacement of drive belts, hoses, pumps, starters, valve adjustments, replacement of compressor filters, slide valves, couplings and bearings, as necessary. Participate in preventative maintenance outages and overhauls.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in and around the plant. Keep oil from accumulating on the unit skids, floors, and soil around the plant. Keep weeds and shrubs cleaned from the plant yard and perimeter fence. Keep equipment and floors looking as presentable as possible.
  • Keep all on-site parts and supplies stocked and well organized. Maintain plant inventory.
  • Respond to call outs in a timely manner. Identify and correct the cause of the call out. If the problem cannot be corrected or diagnosed, it is the responsibility of the operator to contact the Area Manager to get the help required to fix the situation.
  • Operate the plant with a clear focus on safety. Clean up spills immediately. Make sure all lighting systems are fully functional; no slip or trip hazards are consistently present; and no electrical or mechanical hazards go on for long periods of time without attention. Affirm that all plant visitors, mechanics, and outside contractors are following safe work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to travel 10% – 15% as needed.

Position Summary: As a Project Coordinator, you will utilize your expertise and leadership skills in working with customers, sales, consultants, engineering, manufacturing and operations, field construction, and permitting with AHJ (state, county, city, utility, gas, electric).
