Job Summary:

As a Field Install Technician, you can expect to be on the road at outdoor construction sites, assisting the Superintendent in building Natural Gas Fueling Stations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up the job site and container.
  • Reading plans.
  • Layout of site.
  • Building racks for gas piping and tubing.
  • Supporting welders.
  • Install stainless steel tubing systems.
  • Conduct pressure tests.
  • Miscellaneous tasks related to concrete work.
  • Forklift and man lift operation.
  • Following and enforcing safety protocols.
  • OSHA 30-hour class and monthly safety classes.
  • ROAD WARRIOR (you will have two weekends per month at home).

Qualifications:

Position Summary:  

 A Construction Superintendent for Opal Fuels oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary day-to-day; however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the site. These positions are for our rapidly expanding Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review project drawings for constructibility and material take-off.
  • Material ordering on JIT basis for anticipated permits.
  • Creating project schedule and budget.
  • Solicit and review vendor and sub-contractor quotes for approval of purchase orders.
  • Customer contact, introduction, communication of overall project schedule and daily/weekly activities.
  • Hands on installation of stainless-steel tubing and carbon steel pipe systems.
  • Operate forklift, scissor lift, petty-bone and the like of medium duty equipment.
  • OSHA 30-hour class maintenance and daily/weekly safety meetings.

Position Summary:  As a CAD Drafter II, you will utilize your expertise to transform initial rough product designs into working engineering documents under limited supervision. You will support the design/engineering team in the production of design, mapping calculations, preparation of plans, drawings, reports, and exhibits using computer aided design (AutoCAD). In addition, you will coordinate and supervise design responsibilities and drafting assignments as requests by your manager. You will work with project managers, production, field construction, vendors and consultants, utility, gas, and city. You will work independently with limited or no supervision. You are required to travels and stay overnights as needed to support construction team, AHJ/Utility/Gas, and meeting customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create engineering drawings in accordance with local municipal (AHJ) rules and customer requirements for permitting.
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, procurement, manufacturing, operations, and field construction.
  • Conducts and/or participates engineering design reviews with internal and external customers.
  • Gathered jobsite information by conducting research using tools such as Google Earth, reaching out to AHJ and customers, and possibly visiting jobsite as require.
  • Research building data, state and local code requirements, and interpret survey data for accuracy and verification of project.
  • Preparing preliminary, revisions, and final engineering drawing document utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Create and revises engineering drawings as recommended by company consultants, customers, factory/production, and field operations construction.
  • Research and arranging engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence of established civil, utility, gas, state, city, and county specifications and standards.
  • Review customer “scope of works” with project coordinators and other team members in order to understand the requirements and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, project management, production, and field construction to effectively design for various client’s needs in order to meet project timeline.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate Degree or Trade School Certification.
  • 5+ years combined experience in civil, mechanical, or/and electrical design with knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of time.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in team environment.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, PDF).
  • Strong teamwork capabilities and communication skills.
  • A highly motivated individual capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will assist in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
  • Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
  • Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment.
  • Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
  • Responsible for researching customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the collections manager and other staff.
  • Preforms collections of accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bi-monthly) basis.
  • Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
  • Assists Accounting Department in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
  • Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent required; AA or BS in Accounting is preferred.

  • Manage stage reporting of all active construction projects and report weekly. 
  • Assist and Mentor Superintendents with budgeting and scheduling.

Position Summary:   

The Lead Plant Operator is responsible for the direction and supervision of all day-to-day activities in a reciprocating engine landfill gas power generation facility.  This position reports to the Area Manager and shares accountability of the day-to-day operations of the site.  This position will lead a team of four other operators with the goals of maximizing production and minimizing downtime with the utmost regard to safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance.

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Wellfield Supervisor and is responsible for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the gas collection and control system (GCCS). The GCCS consists of a series of extraction points, known as wells, that are interconnected via piping. Proper operation of the GCCS is required to comply with State and Federal environmental regulations.  Most of day will be spent in the field maintaining the GCCS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monthly wellfield monitoring.
  • Liquid level measurements in Gas Extraction Wells (GEW).

  • Conduct routine blower and flare operations.
  • Monitor perimeter probes.

Position Summary:  The Renewable Natural Gas Optimization Manager will be responsible for the optimization of the Landfill Gas Renewable Natural Gas projects.

  • Assume responsibility of the site after initial start-up to identify and establish plans to resolve or enhance current operating conditions.
