Position Summary:

Perform all functions of operating a combined cycle gas turbine power generation facility.  Maintain safe facility conditions and detailed records on kilowatt production data, equipment operational hours and service schedules.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor the boiler/gas turbine while making necessary adjustments to keep the plant operating at highest efficiency.
  • Take daily and weekly readings; maintain detailed records on kilowatt production data, equipment operational hours, and service schedules and equipment outages.
  • Check all operating equipment daily including fluid levels, pressure and temperature readings, and unusual noises in order to correct conditions before failure occurs; notify plant manager and maintenance specialist as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance including filter changes, equipment lubrication, water chemical treatment and maintenance during annual overhauls.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in and around the power plant. Keep oil from accumulating on the unit skids, floors, and soil around the plant.  Keep weeds and shrubs cleaned from the plant yard and perimeter fence. Keep equipment and floors looking as presentable as possible.
  • Keep all on-site parts and supplies stocked and well organized. Maintain plant inventory.
  • Operate the plant with a clear focus on safety. Clean up spills immediately.  Make sure all lighting systems are fully functional; no slip or trip hazards are consistently present; and no electrical or mechanical hazards go for long periods of time without attention.  Affirm that all plant visitors, mechanics and outside contractors are following safe work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: 

 A Plant Operator performs all functions for safely operating a Renewable Natural Gas Facility.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • This position will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and repairing equipment required to maximize gas plant production in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
  • Maintain detailed records on production data, equipment operational hours, service schedules, and equipment outages.
  • Check all operating equipment daily including flow meters, gas chromatographs, fluid levels, pressure and temperature readings, and unusual noises to correct conditions before failure occurs.
  • Perform all maintenance and repairs on the operating equipment including oil and filter changes, replacement and repair of valves, blowers, compressors, and other plant equipment, as necessary. Participate in preventative maintenance outages and overhauls.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in and around the plant. Keep oil from accumulating on the unit skids, floors, and soil around the plant.  Keep weeds and shrubs cleaned from the plant yard and perimeter fence. Keep equipment and floors looking as presentable as possible.

Position Summary:

As a Field Install Technician, you can expect to be on the road at outdoor construction sites (75% national travel), assisting the Superintendent in building Natural Gas Fueling Stations.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up the job site and container.
  • Reading plans.
  • Layout of site.
  • Building racks for gas piping and tubing.
  • Supporting welders.
  • Install stainless steel tubing systems.
  • Conduct pressure tests.
  • Miscellaneous tasks related to concrete work.
  • Forklift and man lift operation.
  • Following and enforcing safety protocols.
  • OSHA 30-hour class and monthly safety classes.

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum three years of experience in a construction field or similar work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including preparing internal and external financial reports with a focus on cash and fixed assets.
  • Review and interpret internal and external financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations and coordinate closely with the accounting team.

Opal Fuels offers the incoming Financial Analyst the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the rapidly growing and evolving sector of the renewable fuels, power generation, and decarbonization sectors. Due to the relatively lean size of the Finance and Treasury team, the Analyst will assume integral rolls within the deal teams and gain exposure to senior professionals.

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of onboarding; offer letters, pre-employment testing, background checks and E-Verify
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation to ensure appropriate paperwork is completed
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees in company healthcare plans
  • Assist with maintaining personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
