Position Summary: The incumbent must have a strong technical background in electrical/mechanical/design/ development/ national renewable energy projects/oil & gas/PE. This position will provide engineering, design/ drafting, and technical support of projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in areas related to renewable natural gas (RNG), hydrogen, and/or oil and gas, along with excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technician guidance to drafting, vendor, contractor, customers, team members.
  • Drive and support the technical and engineering of projects.
  • Provide engineering analysis, and specs of equipment for projects.
  • Review and guide engineering, specs, and scope of projects with selected EPC firms.
  • Assist other team members in developing RFQs.
  • Develop P&ID & PFD for RNG/CNG fueling station and gas processing plant projects.
  • Develop quantity and cost estimates for site work.
  • Provide technician guidance of multiple concurrent projects, in multiple states, through the design and approval process.
  • Coordinate efforts with electrical and mechanical engineers, equipment manufacturers and company design team to produce construction plans and specifications.
  • Direct facility layout design.
  • Support the sales team at point of inquiry, award, and subsequent meetings with customers and serve as a technical representative when needed.
  • Use AutoCAD to quickly revise, update, and make changes to drawings.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the engineering process and the products of the company.

  • Interface with major equipment suppliers so that product knowledge remains current.
  • Investigate new suppliers and new products.
  • Assist with research and development efforts to find new solutions that will result in lowering overall costs without lowering the overall quality.
  • Review activities for technical evaluation of existing and future products.
  • Provide recommendations on existing and future products.
  • Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, state and federal standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Coordinate outsourced civil, electrical, mechanical, and land-development engineering.
  • Attend projects in hosting kick-off meetings following award of project to confirm understanding of scope of supply and contractual obligations.
  • Assist with start-up issues of new packages to ensure smooth operation and proper installation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Seven plus years of experience and proven success in gas processing or related engineering.
  • Experience leading and managing company team members, and vendors.
  • PE License desired but not required.
  • Strong understanding of industry codes.
  • Understanding of industrial drafting standards, symbols, process, instrumentation, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to perform changes and updates to drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Experienced in developing specifications for the design and fabrication of mechanical plant processes.

Position Summary: The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining receiving, the warehouse and distribution of materials and equipment. Basic electrical knowledge of installation of conduit and wire is preferred with this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Shop fabrication of inventory items as needed, project staging, and general warehouse duties.
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Fabricate, layout, and make connections of electrical and mechanical equipment as per design.
  • Installation of stainless-steel tubing, conduit & wire for production equipment built in the warehouse.

Position Summary:  OPAL Fuels has a dynamic opportunity for an SEC Reporting Manager with strong US GAAP knowledge and technical accounting skills. The candidate should have solid consolidation and GL reporting skills in a multi-entity public company. This position reports to the Vice President, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting.  This position is based in our White Plains, NY headquarters.  The ideal incumbent will develop an innate curiosity about the business and ability to ask questions to develop and recommend a solution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing. Responsible for all corporate accounts – equity, debt, stock-based compensation, equity method investments, non-controlling interests, etc.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements including cash flows.
  • Assist in preparing the 10Q footnotes.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly 10Q and annual 10K by preparing financial statements and footnotes and performing tie outs.
  • Assist in researching US GAAP guidance for accounting positions as needed.
  • Prepare partner reports and bank reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Review and interpret internal and external financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations and coordinate closely with the accounting team. Provide support on technical accounting memos.
  • Provide financial reporting, audit, and compliance support, satisfying all requests timely and accurately with requested information.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information included in quarterly Investor Relations documents (scripts, investor presentations, etc.).
  • Support the FP&A teams’ forecast and budgetary processes by providing knowledge transfer pertaining to technical accounting positions and transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA with a mix of public and corporate accounting experience, Big 4 experience preferred.
  • At least five years, progressive work experience in total, with at least one year in an SEC reporting role.
  • Technical proficiency and comfort using accounting and reporting software in addition to the Microsoft Office suite and Workiva (preferred).
  • Strong technical accounting background and acumen
  • Previous experience in the energy industry preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and deadlines, with a sense of urgency.

Position Summary: The role of the Field Service Technician is to provide remote technical services to customer owned station personnel, and to respond to emergency calls in an organized, timely, and efficient manner. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to compressors, dryers, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and various other equipment.
  • Diagnose and test electrical systems for continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as digital volt/ohm meters.

Position Summary: The Assembly Technician is responsible for equipment assembly per engineering drawings. This position will remanufacture or rebuild components for field service operations.

 Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings.
  • Conduit, tube, and pipe bending / threading per print.
  • Use of common hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric power tools and fork trucks.
  • Use of electric powered benders, riveters, drill press and chop saws.

Position Summary:

A Construction Superintendent oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary day-to-day; however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the site. These positions are for our rapidly expanding CNG/RNG business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review project drawings for constructability and material take-off.
  • Material ordering on JIT basis for anticipated permits.
  • Create project schedule and budget.
  • Solicit and review vendor and sub-contractor quotes for approval of purchase orders.
  • Customer contact, introduction, communication of overall project schedule and daily/weekly activities.
  • Hands on installation of stainless-steel tubing and carbon steel pipe systems.
  • Operate forklift, scissor lift, petty-bone and the like of medium duty equipment.
  • OSHA 30-hour class maintenance and daily/weekly safety meetings.

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in a similar field.
  • Minimum of eight years as a trade worker (civil, mechanical, or electrical).
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and workflow simultaneously.
  • OSHA Standards expertise.

Job Summary:

As a Field Install Technician, you can expect to be on the road at outdoor construction sites, assisting the Superintendent in building Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Fueling Stations. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up the job site and container.
  • Reading plans.
  • Building racks for gas piping and tubing.
  • Supporting welders.
  • Install stainless steel tubing systems.
  • Conduct pressure tests.
  • Manage miscellaneous tasks related to concrete work.
  • Forklift and man lift operation.

  • OSHA 30-hour class and monthly safety classes.
  • ROAD WARRIOR (you will have two weekends per month at home).

Qualifications and Skills:

Position SummaryMust have a strong technical background in Electrical / Mechanical / Design / Development / National Renewable Energy projects / Oil & Gas / PE.  The Technical Project Engineer will be providing engineering, design/drafting, and technical support of projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in areas related to RNG, Hydrogen, and/or oil and gas, along with excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technician guidance to drafting, vendor, contractor, customers, team members.
  • Drive and support the technical, and engineering of projects.
  • Provide engineering analysis, and specs of equipment for projects.
  • Review and guide engineering, specs, and scope of projects with selected EPC firms.
  • Assist other team members in developing RFQs.
  • Develop P&ID & PFD for RNG /CNG fueling Station and Gas Processing Plant Projects.
  • Develop quantity and cost estimates for site work.
  • Provide technician guidance of multiple concurrent projects, in multiple states, through the design and approval process.
  • Coordinate efforts with electrical and mechanical engineers, equipment manufacturers and company design team to produce construction plans and specifications.
  • Direct facility layout design.
  • Support the sales team at inquiry, award, and subsequent meetings with customers and serve as a technical representative when needed.
  • Use AutoCAD to quickly revise, update, and make changes to drawings.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the engineering process and the products of the company
  • Provide creativity and latitude for designs to meet desired facility performance.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Oversee the review, creation, and maintenance of engineering standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Review policies and procedures to reduce costs, shorten cycle time, improve serviceability, and increase throughput and quality.
  • Interface with major equipment suppliers so that product knowledge remains current.
  • Investigate new suppliers and new products.
  • Assist with research and development efforts to find new solutions that will result in lowering overall costs without lowering overall quality.
  • Review activities for technical evaluation of existing and future products.
  • Provide recommendations on existing and future products.
  • Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, state and federal standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Coordinate outsourced civil, electrical, mechanical, and land-development engineering.
  • Attend projects in hosting kick-off meetings following award of project to confirm understanding of scope of supply and contractual obligations.
  • Assist with start-up issues of new packages to ensure smooth operation and proper installation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience and proven success in gas processing or related engineering.
  • Experience leading and managing company team members, and vendors.
  • PE License desired but not required.
  • Strong understanding of industry codes.
  • Understanding of industrial drafting standards, symbols, process, instrumentation, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to perform changes and updates to drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Experienced in developing specifications for the design and fabrication of mechanical plant processes.
  • Experienced in evaluation of customer specifications, with aptitude to communicate directly with customers.
  • Experienced in quality review of fabricated and assembled equipment, cost review and control.
  • Must be able to achieve positive results in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.
  • Must be able to comprehend the interdependence of all operations in the production process and make decisions that lead to the efficient use of available resources while maintaining project scheduled.
