Position Summary:
Perform all functions of operating a gas turbine power generation facility. Maintain safe facility conditions and detailed records on kilowatt production data, equipment operational hours and service schedules.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This position will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and repairing equipment required to maximize gas plant production in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
  • Operate and monitor large reciprocating gas engines (Caterpillar 3500 series gensets) and associated auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records on production data, equipment operational hours, service schedules, and equipment outages.
  • Check all operating equipment daily including flow meters, gas chromatographs, fluid levels, pressure and temperature readings, and unusual noises to correct conditions before failure occurs.
  • Perform all maintenance and repairs on the operating equipment including oil and filter changes, replacement of spark plugs, drive belts, hoses, valve adjustments, replacement of cylinder heads, piston, cylinder liners and bearings as necessary.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance outages and overhauls.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in and around the plant. Keep oil from accumulating on the unit skids, floors, and soil around the plant.
  • Keep weeds and shrubs cleaned from the plant yard and perimeter fence. Keep equipment and floors looking as presentable as possible.
  • Keep all on-site parts and supplies stocked and well organized. Maintain plant inventory.
  • Respond to call outs in a timely manner. Identify and correct the cause of the call out. If the problem cannot be corrected or diagnosed, it is the responsibility of the operator to contact the plant manager to get the help required to fix the situation.
  • Operate the plant with a clear focus on safety. Clean up spills immediately. Make sure all lighting systems are fully functional; no slip or trip hazards are consistently present; and no electrical or mechanical hazards go for long periods of time without attention. Affirm that all plant visitors, mechanics, and outside contractors are following safe work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for cash accounts.
  • Oversee daily cash reporting process including preparation of journal entries for company’s cash accounts including recording cash receipts.

Position Summary:
A Plant Operator performs all functions for safely operating a Renewable Natural Gas Facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and various other equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist with two years of experience to work in the Accounts Payable department. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager, and is in White Plains, NY.

Duties:

  • Perform data entry of invoices into MS Dynamics SL (Solomon) Accounts Payable System.
  • Load invoices into e Procurement system matching with related Purchase Order and receiving documents.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Match vendor invoices to underlying purchase orders and receiving reports.
  • Ensure that appropriate approvals appear on the invoice.

OPAL Fuels is looking for a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work in our downstream Fuel Station Services business. This position will report to an Accounting Manager and will be in our White Plains, New York headquarters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of all accounts and financial statements including inter-company balances.
  • Perform daily accounting and financial reporting operations.
  • Maintain company property and sales tax reporting requirements.
  • The timely coordination and review of all journal entries, maintenance of recurring journal entries and allocations, monthly P&L charges and balance sheet account analysis.
  • Working with other accountants to ensure inter-company charges are accurate and reconcile.
  • Handle monthly account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Work with operations group in reviewing their costs, evaluating the reasons for budget variances, reviewing operational reports, and developing ways to increase efficiency.

Job Summary:
This position reports to the Wellfield Supervisor and is responsible for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the gas collection and control system (GCCS). The GCCS consists of a series of extraction points, known as wells, that are interconnected via piping. Proper operation of the GCCS is required to comply with State and Federal environmental regulations. Most of day will be spent in the field maintaining the GCCS.

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing consolidation and process of preparing internal and external financial reports.

A Construction Superintendent for Opal Fuels oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion.
